Kittens

How do I get my kitten used to the vets?
Bring your kitten in for regular nurse clinics. You can ask for any advice, make sure they are growing and developing as they should by weighing them here regularly & at the same time your kitten will become used to coming in and seeing us.

This is really important for your kitten to be relaxed when they come in the future for annual checks or any medical issues. This will also get them used to getting into the cat carrier, the car ride and will save you a lot of stress in the long run!

Kitten worming and flea treatment
To make sure your kitten is up to date with worming and flea treatments, ask the breeder / rescue what they have had and when so we can sort out when you need any next treatments!

Kitten vaccinations
Your new kitten may have already had some, or all of their vaccinations. You need to ask the breeder or rescue what vaccination they have had, when they had it and which brand was used.

This means we can work out what they need and when so they are fully protected.

We are an ISFM accredited cat friendly clin

ISFM = International Society of Feline Medicine.

Cat Friendly Clinic is a worldwide programme from the International Society of Feline Medicine, the veterinary division of International Cat Care.

We recognise that because of their unique nature and needs, taking a cat to a veterinary clinic can be very stressful, both for the cat and also the owner.

The Cat Friendly Clinic programme is designed to help address these issues by creating more cat friendly veterinary clinics and so reducing the stress for the cat, and making veterinary visits easier for cat owners as well.
